There are times when a sensor cannot or may not touch the surface. An infrared thermometer measures the surface temperature without contact: fast, remotely and without disrupting the process.

The product line covers a measuring range of from -35 °C to +900 °C with an optical resolution of 75:1. Applications vary from moving parts, engines and electrical components to surfaces in the food industry and materials susceptible to corrosion. Models with a special glass lens offer increased measurement precision. Combination instruments for simultaneous measuring of temperature and dew point are available, useful for HVAC engineers in determining condensation risk. Thermal imaging cameras with SD card storing are also included in the product line.
