The temperature signal a sensor gives off is small and easily disrupted, particularly across large distances or past components with strong electromagnetic fields. A temperature transmitter converts the signal to a robust 4-20 mA output signal that can be reliably transported.

INOR transmitters are available in DIN rail models or to fix in the connection head, can be configured analogue or digitally and with SIL 2 or ATEX certification. Isolators and isolator transmitters ensure signal isolation from 1.5 kV and protect both service staff and equipment against undesirable peak voltages in the process.
